My soul in a smile

By Kailin

When he smiles at me, I glow. And by glow I mean volcanoes are bursting in every direction, fireworks are lighting up the sky of my mind. Everything about him makes me feel at peace with myself, and when I am by myself I sing loudly without music, when I am by myself I spin around in circles until Im dizzy like I did when i was a child.  When he smiles at me, the world stops for a second, and in that second I can look into the past of our happiness. I embrace it, like the gleam of morning dew, or the first flake of the winter snow. When he smiles at me the world is quiet, and by quiet I mean I can hear birds singing and an echo of wedding bells ringing. When he smiles at me I am at peace with myself, and when I say I am at peace with myself, what I really mean is that he is smiling at me now.
