My Stately Dream

I've worked so hard to get here.
Through sweat, sunburns and pain,
I've finally made it to the top.
The state championship I will reign.
I've battled the whole season
With broken strings and blisters galore,
Muscles aching and hardcore training,
I'll step on court once more.
This is my dream:
To be a tennis star,
To sweep through state,
To have made it that far.
