My sunshine long gone

My honey sweet sunshine long gone, the girl who encourages my fondest dreams,
left with many days of loss sleep, my own engineered nightmares all around,
that overcoat strapped tightly, my now future like some baron lifeless life without
her attached to me, as if it were my right or left hand, singing sweet songs to me,
holding hands as if afraid of me getting lost somewhere, oh, my honey, you've always
known that I do care, how I grieve to my own funeral possession, the death of this once
blissful romance, my solo moment of chastisement, my wailing despair, ever since
having you gone forever away and left haunted once more by this long-ago kiss
tattooed onto my chest of private burden, please say you'll come home soon.
