My Tiny Man

I sing to you in the morning,
We read to you at night.
My tiny man, my shining star,
You are so wondrously bright.

You trust your little body
To get you from place to place.
Even though sometimes you tumble,
You seem to fall with such grace.

The days are blinking by,
So many firsts we get to see.
One day you will be too big
To sit on mama's knee.

I hope you will always know
How much love we have for you.
My tiny man, my shining star,
We are proud of everything you do.
