My Valentine's Day

My blood splattered
My innocence was taken advantage of
My screams, tears were nothing
The one you never expected
The one you trusted
Was the one who took you in
Was the one who hurt you the worst
Your looks are the things that might help you
Now every Valentine I sit at home
Waiting for the beast to come
Waiting for hell to start again
To never see it the same way again
Seeing my classmates act foolish
To look at them and reflect me
Every day it happens
But on Valentine's it's worse
It's more painful
I'm never alone; rivers of pitiful tears
All for nothing
