My Virtuality of Reality

Reality is a lie.
Cutting into my mind, it takes away the beauty.
Blocking my soul, it won't let me see the clear blue sky.
Its chains holding me down, I can't get free.
Closing my eyes, I smell the land I tie.
I feel the wind coaxing my wings open for all to see,
Rainbows wrap around me as I fly.
Howling, my heart fills with strength and glee.
Through my wings play the notes of the land that can never die.
Opening my eyes, I fall to the sea.
I let from my mouth a heavy sigh,
Back again to a cold cup of tea.
Waiting again to go to the unwaking eye,
Hoping virtuality will leak into reality.
Here, I remain grounded and shy.
Out there, I'm unchained by ye.
Out there, I soar with the eagles high.
