My Willow

curled under leaves hiding me from rain
as this droopy tree shelters me
covering my crys and shadowing my soul's pain
each weeping leaf swaying a dance
lulling my eyes to this drip, drip trance

head chained to a root and arms in the grass
resting, carrying a smile, at last
this willow is my friend even if this is my fate
to never leave, just trapped in this space
shuttering, sputtering, screaming, then a shout
eyes slowly open and a gasp is let out
freedom from my dream but wat has really changed
im still under this willow and there still is rain
