Nakedly existing

I want to be naked in the mountains,
naked in the stream,
to be naked with my body
and naked from within.

I want the wind to blow right through me,
the water to wash me clean.
Before the soil consumes me
I want to feel it touch my skin.

It’s not a sin to touch somebody,
it’s not a sin to touch yourself.
I forgot the tenderness of my body,
got caught up in my head again.
I am not just a vehicle
carrying a soul,
I am somebody
- body for sure.

That’s why I want to be naked,
not just in the night of day.
I want to be nakedly existing;
Soul and body to become the same.
