Name Calling

I stand in a corner overlooking everyone else
They call me names, thinking they can hurt me
Trying to make me feel worse about myself
As I try to keep myself up, they continue to bring me down

They call me names, thinking they can hurt me
Every word burns itself into my mind
As I try to keep myself up, they continue to bring me down
They bring me pain that I cannot contain

Every word burns itself into my mind
I try to evade them, but it is all in vain
They bring me pain that I cannot contain
Like a tidal wave with their words, they try to drown me

I try to evade them, but it is all in vain
No matter how much I try, I cannot seem to hide
Like a tidal wave with their words, they try to drown me
I stand in a corner overlooking everyone else
