Names for different Situations
I have called you many different names in many different situations.
When I am with my friends, you are known as sadness.
I feel like crying as they joke, feeling blue and alone.
When I am with my therapist, you are referred to as depression.
You are the illness that kills from within, and I am constantly STUCK in this hole you have put me in.
When I am with my best friends, you are known as outer space.
I yell and scream, but you can't hear me, there are no air particles vibrating here. I am stuck here! And you put me here!
When I am with my family, you are home to me.
I feel comfortable around you when I am home.
I have called you many things, but right now, I. Am. Home.
Am. Home.

I wrote this after watching Sienna Burnette. I love writing spoken word to say. I will eventually get a video of this.
