Nashville

To the guy who disappeared.
I met you in a bar.
I should have known then.
You were all alone and too eager to talk to me.
I should have known then.
Things moved too quickly and you couldn't get enough of me.
I should have known then.
You whispered things no one has said to me before.
I should have known then.
You wanted to yell them from the rooftop.
I should have known then.
You told me you were afraid you were going to hurt me.
I should have known then.
You disappeared.
I should have known then.
And now I am left alone.

I definitely know now.
