" Natural Disaster"

We started out as the best of friends,
Keeping up with all the latest trends.
But the day we said I do,
Was the day I started to annoy you.
Because the things you used to love about me,
Are now the things you hate.
And you've got walking me on egg shells,
Because I don't want my face to become
A part of your finger nails.
And you are getting faster and faster,
Baby you've become a natural disaster.

Because when the house begins to shake,
I know you are an earthquake.
When you're spinning out of control,
Causing me pain,
I know you're a hurricane.
And when you cried,
I watched you turn into a mudslide.
But I just smile and say ,
Honey you're looking beautiful.
Because I'm a master,
At living with a natural disaster.

When you were just a friend ,
We created perfect blend.
With my less then funny jokes,
Mixed with your more than clever Quotes.
My off the wall remarks,
Mixed with your out of the park smarts.
But now I nothing do seems to please you.
And you've got me walking on egg shells,
Because I don't want my face to become,
A part of your finger nails.
And you're getting faster and faster,
Baby you've become a natural disaster.
