Nature on the Rampage

(A portrayal of ‘Hurricane Sandy’)

Tsunamis of fury and surge dynamic,
Snowstorms and hurricanes
Of wreckage and frustration;
Bullies in our nightmares at the tides.
Battering rams on the paths
To peril and destruction
All conquering, all overpowering
Over land, sea and air
Devours lives in hundreds
And billions of Dollars in assets.
Nature on howling raw rampage
That the wisdom of mankind
Is yet to to conceive an antidote
If ever possible!
So still untamed
Nature rumbles and rages
Like a bull gone amuck.
