Nature Senses

I smell the aroma of the pine tree
I smell the May flowers
I smell the fresh fruits of a peach tree
I hear the crinkles of the oak tree leaf
I hear the stampede of buffalos
I hear the roar of the lion
I feel the rambling of thunder
I feel the wet dew of the prairie grass
I feel the smooth edge of a palm tree
I taste the fruits of an apple tree
I taste the salt of the sea
I taste the rain pouring down
And yet, I wonder of how these wonders came to be
Oh, so beautifully
I try not to let this beauty be
For if I do, it might disappear
I fear no more than nature's end
So let us all walk hand in hand
And praise this paradise land
