Nature’s Cure

When the day reaches its slumber and night awakens the darkness
I will rest above my sorrow for it shall have no harshness

When the winter crisps the trees with frost that stings so cold
I will break the ice with laughter for smiling is worth gold

When the clouds surround the surface and rain begins to pour
I will look below at sorrow and think of it nothing more

When the sun replenishes the sky and all that's black is gone
I will focus on its brightness as light will make me strong
