Nature’s Wonder

Pitter patter of little feet bare
Running a path with not a care

Trees that canopy diffusing the light
Secret tunnel, end just in sight

Emerging cool shade doth shall I find
All my thoughts I’ve left far behind

Underfoot soft and velvet the moss
Gentle warm breeze, my hair does toss

Splendor of color, every hue
Fragrant flowers kissed by the dew

Melodious birds fly to and fro
Bees collect nectar, off they go

Grateful am I the splendor I see
Natures wonder blessed upon thee
