Needing You

Weeping through the morning fog,
I wander all alone
searching for the only one
that I can call my own.

Tears running down my cheeks,
his image is so clear--
wanting his arms around me,
needing him right here.

Pain shoots through my soul,
as I fall to my knees.
I try to lock up my heart,
but he stole the keys.

Crying out in agony,
to the stars above,
hoping it would carry out
to the one I love.
