Nerd and Jock

Her glasses reflected the sun,
his sunglasses surpassed it.
Her over-sized sweatshirt covered her up,
his tight fitting jersey that showed everything,
Her straight A grades,
his winning touchdown.
Her large innocent brown eyes,
his dark, cold blue ones.
Her small, gentle hands,
his large, rough ones.
Her giggle and beautiful smile,
his evil smirk and fake laugh.
Her nose in a book,
his in a losing game.
She’s his nerd,
he’s her jock.
With him she’s different, not as in the air.
With her he’s different, more real and not fake.
