It’s never enough
Expecting the best
Caught in a bluff
I thought I was blessed

I want to be better
I’m tired of pain
But this warmth in the darkness
Is calling my name

After all of these years
You think I would stay
Away ‘cause these fears
Dim the light of my day

In thought for some time
I have come to find
I’m trapped in sublime
Lies of my mind

They hated you
You are better than them
You always knew
Never trust again

It’s all in your head
Quit letting them in
You’re better off dead
The demons they grin

Stomping your spirit it feeds their delight
Picking apart all you are till you might
Fall off of the edge right into the night
The struggle is pointless… no will left to fight
