Never Forgotten

I made a pact with you, my friend.
We have been parted long since the winter’s breath.
I look for you only to find you in the mirror of my skull.
I wait by the lighthouse,
Guiding you to me with the light from my heart.
As the Sun goes down, below the hill,
A tear begins to fall.
Blindly, I see;
You have left me with our visions.
I must walk alone.
