Never Let Go
You gave me life and a beat to my heart.
I loved you from the very start.
You held my hand and never let go..
So I just thought that you should know.
Being my mother hasn't been smooth.
But there you stood. Didn't budge nor move.
Gave me everything you had to give.
So a happy life was mine to live.
I watch you very close it seems.
The way you sleep, you laugh, and the way you breathe.
Your beauty radiates through the way you smile.
Being selfless and caring all the while.
I notice the little things that most kids don't.
I love them all and I can't forget them, I won't.
The way you hum while working all day
Until the job is done, there you will stay.
So hard working and beautiful, I can't ever compare.
For being in your life is much too great to bare.
You are my mother, so perfect and kind.
Oh how most wish they had a mother like mine.
For the rest of my life I will love you so
Because I will hold your hand and never let go.

This Poems Story
I am a young, amitious woman and write poetry in my down time. My poetry stems from my deepest passions. My family is my reason for happiness, but I would not be the woman I am without my God-sent mother. The love I have for her is immeasurable, and I will spend the rest of my life living to make her proud. The bond we have is so rare. Loving someone so much it brings you to tears is something I hope everyone gets a chance to experience. A love this overwhelming is unexplainable.
