Never Say Good-Bye

I'm never saying good-bye.
When love is unconditional words are not necessary,
Distance is irrelevant,
True feelings from the heart are more tangible
Than touches from a hand,
A mother's love is boundless

I'm never saying good-bye.
You're born with your mother's love,
Her nurturing yields an unbreakable bond
Mothers are your fiercest defenders
And your most sage advisors,
Lessons passed from mother to child,
Generation to generation creating eternal legacies

I'm never saying good-bye.
The moment my head touched your heart
From your cradled arms we became soul mates,
You know me better than I know myself,
You've been my biggest cheerleader
And most ardent protector,
From a lifetime of love,
You know what I'm thinking and what's truly in my heart

I'm never saying good-bye.
Because I don't need to--
I love you!
