Never walk alone

Through a tunnel I entered
From a place I won't remember
To a world of the unknown.

Too many faces to remember
Only one voice sounds familiar
To a connection over the months I've grown to know.

Yet I still bare to wonder
is there any hidden danger
to this place I've entered alone.

Through my cries there is a whisper
With a touch so ever gentler
Reassuring that I will never be alone.

Yet I can't help but ponder
If to trust the unfamiliar
Based on the gentleness of the hand I hold.

Then there was an utter, that came from above her
You'll never walk alone.
You’ll learn the true face
of the hands you hold.
My dear child welcome home!
