Nevermore

One cold, dark, windy night
I sit here looking at a deep, black sky
Thunder roars, piercing the silence
Sending shivers down my spine
Know the rain is coming soon
Know there is nothing I can do
Waiting for the storm
Waiting for the tempest
Waiting for the beast who will consume my soul
Waiting, waiting, waiting
Waiting for nevermore
The end of it all.
Down on my knees, begging desperately
For one last chance to have another dance
I know there is no hope
I know there is no mercy
I know there is nothing I can do
To stop the beast from coming through
Waiting for the storm
Waiting for the tempest
Waiting for the beast who will consume my soul
Waiting, waiting, waiting
Waiting for nevermore
The end of it all
