Nevermore

Long forgotten city streets,
Silver moonlight illuminates.
A cold wind carries voices,
Over snow-capped mountain tops.
A familiar face,
In a crowded place.
In this fallen city,
Where demons sleep.
She loves the night.
She dances with stars,
And kisses the moon.
She falls asleep.
A long dreamless sleep.
In this forgotten city,
Crowded with her demons.
She'll never wake again.
This city sleeps.
Forever forgotten beneath the sea.
