New Lungs I Need You Now

I walk these halls in a hospital gown
Not knowing a familiar face around.
I never seen life flash right before my eyes
As a part of me just sits here and cries.
One day I will love life again
But for now I pray this isn't the end.
My new lungs are almost here
When that day comes I will no longer have to fear.
