As the colors bleed across the sky
And the screams of the children die down
The sun pokes it's head from under the clouds

The shadow of the moon creeps onto the fading sky
And the bugs begin to make their music
A calming rhythm floats into the air

The lights flick on in houses
And the windows get shut too
For night will soon fall upon a small town

The color fades out
And the clock strikes 7
It is approaching

The moon shines bright
And the stars wink at the objects below
While the children get tucked into bed
