Night in The Woods

The night is an interesting time.
At day the woods would normally be kind.
The woods and the night should not combine,
If they didn’t we would be fine.
The wolves would howl through the night,
As if they are looking for someone to fight.
The rabbits and birds are fast asleep,
Because they don’t want to become a meal to eat.
If I go outside I would be scared,
But it’s not like anyone would have really cared.
Walking through the night,
Can be quite a fright.
Don’t walk through the woods,
Go to bed tonight.
I hope you truly heed this warning:
Don’t walk in the woods until morning.

This Poems Story

This is another poem I made in February 25, 2020 for a school assignment. This was also my first published and successful poem.
