Night Life

Night Life

A familiar place I'm walking in, there's nothing here I haven't seen
The night is finally getting old, and drunken fools are feeling bold
The music drives me to this place, I get lost in its vibrant pace
I start to dance and carry on, Oh no! The lights are coming on.....

It turns into a meet and greet , as people stumble to their feet
It's my people I'm trying to find, when his eyes lock into mine
His stare begins to burn a hole, and exposes every desire in my soul
I try but fail to look away, OH CRAP! he's coming towards me!

He says his name and we shake hands, like a thousand pins with electric ends
A euphoric feel like an ecstasy pill, sparks a sinful lust that's sure to kill
The crowd has cleared and I hear my name, I look away and what a shame
When I turn around I find I stand alone, and what's his name is already gone

Just when I almost let my guard down
Embraced this new dangerous feel I found
Forming words in my head to let you know
Follow you I will, wherever you want to go!
