Nightfall

When night comes,
We are at the table-talking
My grandfather says when he was little,
He wasn't allowed to talk at the table
I can't believe it, I talk too much!
Somedays I go into the treehouse
"a nice way to get in nature" I think
When I climb the ladder I am scared
And want to go inside
But when I am in, I grow confident
The nature settles inside me like flame settles in a fire
And I relax
It's easier to write this way
Ideas come like birds to a feeder
Once I relax
I let nature flow through my body
And feel why
I am such a lover of it
These are nature lover times
And writing times
So much you can do in a nightfall
