No Goodbye’s

He sits in his bedsit all alone
as he stares over to the telephone
no one calls to say hello
for time goes by so slow

Just someone he needs his life to share
for deep inside he would truly care
but alas he lives all alone
why don't someone call him on the phone

Inside he feels he can't go on
thoughts run wild in his mind he knows is wrong
dreams haunt him in the dead of night
so glad to see the break of light

With no romance to fulfil his heart
for so desperate where can he start
no confidence within himself does he bare
all he wants is someone to love and care

But sadly night time falls once more
and no one comes knocking upon his door
now he plans his final end
all alone without a friend

So now he looks around for the very last time
for in death he will find peace of mind
his eye's slowly close at the end of the day
as his spirit now gently floats away
