No One

Every tree has a season every branch has a fall
Some winters come without reason and are the coldest of all
The sun has set perhaps for the last time
Even the moon is moody as she won't shine
The birds are lost and the drought is the cost

The sun has gained some shine
And the wrinkle likens a laugh line
Who knew the tree was really a mountain
the detritus of the leaf was really a fountain
Youth is delightfully dreadful like the truth

Who in the midst of the friendless family
will slaughter this unholy humiliation of humanity?
