No one notices

Soft lilting breath,
Enters the crowded room,
And no one notices.

Friends say hello,
She returns a nervous smile,
And no one notices.

Attempting to interact,
Others deep in camaraderie,
And no one notices.

Time passes, as people do,
She backs away,
Never to be seen again.

And no one notices.
