NO PLACE TO HIDE

By

Summer came and went
Not one moment have I spent
Strolling on the oceans shore
'Round a campfire melting s'mores

Autumn's imposes wind -n- chill
Head in hand at window sill
Clouds of smoke turning black
Rains ash on tree limbs in the back

Months held in these four walls
Alone, daylight to night fall
Longing to see another face
Loosing control in this small space

No food, no money can't pay my rent
Job's closed down, no money lent
Virus taking so many lives
Humans in fear with no place to hide.
