No Such Thing as Silent Nights

Heavy steps of a heavy heart,
Down cloudy stairs to heaven's hearth.
In the flames the letters lay,
Ashes fall on a rainy day.
Wind through the branches tell the story of their lives,
Rain on the pavement is tears from their eyes.
People of the sky we can hear your cries,
There's no such thing as a silent night.
