Nothing But..

You are nothing but a Black Hole
an addition to the non-existent,
suffocating under layers of smutty grime and filthy dirt.
mindless children trample over you in their play,
distracted gardeners shear away the undergrowth
that threatens to accompany you in your isolated state.
you are nothing but a Black Hole
a section marked off for the lifeless
alongside other thousands of symmetrical stones,
cold and hard,
lined up perfectly in a row.
you are nothing but a Black Hole
one by one they silently disintegrate,
rotting with the corpses beneath them,
wilting away like the petals
once placed so affectionately
by the being who will soon decay with you,
into your Black Hole.
