Nothing Is Forever Lost

Tracing the lines of an empty heart
No emotion but melancholy
Without tears to spare
not one for the pain
There is no love in this hell
Only black stopped up vains to keep us all blind
Butt Behold! A great beauty doth stand in our midst
The Muse to a thought
The melody to a symphony
The strokes of a masterpiece
The day to our night
Is there hope in this world
Or is this a delusion that only death can repel
I will not. no, I can not lose faith
Not with this sleeping beauty laying before me
No one can awaken her true light
Yet I will continue to be the one who will finally set her free
Free from these chains laid bare on her back
And maybe, maybe mine will fall too
