Nothing Personal

Omnicompetent,
he said.
Yes, she said,
as she convinced the board
they were in the wrong.

Omnific,
he said.
Yes, she said,
as she produced a new being,
a unique, modern piece of art.

Omnipotent,
he said.
Yes, she said,
as she claimed authority over the board,
over those in the wrong.

Omnipresent,
he said.
Yes, she said,
as she appeared staunchly beside him,
now and forevermore.

Omniscient,
he said.
No, she said,
but you are, and always will be,
to me.
