November Wind

When the November wind blows
blowing your hair away from your face.
I hope you go to the place
that was once a haven for us both.
Where we used to run and play;
where we hid with each other
from the pain of reality.
I hope you remember this.
A paradise filled with joy.

Don't shed tears for me;
don't feel guilt.
You were my light,
the one who kept me going
through my darkest times.
It is not your fault I passed away.

As I lay, cold and rotting,
I will remember you face.
The image burned into my mind.
I will remember your touch
those hands held me,
and wiped my tears away.
I will wander this Earth,
and find you once again.
Where the November wind blows.
