Numb

Another sorrow night of dreams escaping,
cobwebs lurking and memories forbidden.

Another sip, another bottle. Another puff, another pack.
And I'm left numb.

I scrounge for feelings of any sort.
All feelings are good feelings.

My lips are soft but my presence is sharp. I'm harsh but weak.

Piercing silence and screaming thoughts are deafening.

Chaos caves around me,
I should be worried.
I should be in pain.

But I'm left numb.

I know I'm sick,
too bad self destruction has a deeper effect than therapy
Another sip, another bottle. Another puff, another pack.
I know i need help but chaos is more comforting than pity.
