O’ How My Heart Sojourns

I passed a lovely Brook one day
From work I did refrain
Every day since noticing
I have visited, time again

It is concealed with vines entrenched
But there's beauty in the stream
Flowing free apart from me
I often stand and dream

Steady movement going past
The rocks do show the wear
Rushing fast at other times
The ground is torn unfair

It passes on in solitude
My words it will not know
I restrain my thoughts inside of me
But once I'm home, they flow...

...O' how my heart sojourns
