Ocean of Love

My love is the ocean
And the breeze that blows,
With the smell of lotion
Beneath the sun that glows.

The surf and the sand
Amid the waves that crash,
A blue sky most grand
While pelicans splash.

The gulls that lazily glide
With feathers fluttering in flight,
As fiddlers scurry off to hide
Disappearing in plain sight.

Shells scattered along the shore
Like pebbles beneath my feet,
Castles and kids to adore;
Scenic serenity ever so sweet.

The salt in the air
From the misting spray,
As footprints bare
Slowly fade away.
