Ode To A Winter’s Day

Oh, blistery winters day....
How I sit in awe of thee
Snow failing to the cold hard ground
Like pollen upon the air
Others can't wait for the weather to become fairer
Yet I admire you in all your splendor
Longing to frolic in your drifts
Giving thanks for all your gifts
Laugh and fall upon the ground
Cold, but yet your joy's abound
Roll you into a perfect sphere
To be thrown at friends close and dear
Hypothermia I do not fear
Snowman whom awaits to be born.....
With a pipe of corn
Why must people think of you as forlorn?....
Many a joy you have to share
Before the spring comes
And makes the weather fair again
