Ode To Homework

My math homework, you inspire me to write.
How I hate the way you waste, work and do,
Invading my mind; day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the textbook fuzz.

Let me compare you to a forte ember?
You are more pencil, essay and tiring.
Short winds shake the leafage of September,
And autumn time has the report wiring.

How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your great paper, time and writing.
Thinking of your science time fills my days.
My hate for you is the pensile

Now I must away with a tensile heart,
Remember my green words whilst we're apart.
