Ode to Janus
Leaves fall heavy
With the dew
As passing light
The last day threw
A breath as solid
Through the clear;
Cogitari as drive
Let Janus steer
From the past
Gazing out;
With two faces
Time's devout
God of season and
Graceful change;
Heal these wounds
I can't exchange
To a new future
Of progress multum;
Bolster this heart
So vapid and numb
And bring me to
A temple of truth
Twice perceiving
The blunders of youth
