Ode to Joy
Not so long lost as you were just around.
Different time tomorrow but the same time all week
our meetings are down to schedule
I am smitten by any spontaneous greet.
Im positive I'll see you tomorrow, until I do-this is my ode to joy
ps. please visit soon.
Its been five ever since our last -satisfactory- greet.
I seem to be locking the door, as often as you wait behind it.
You stay here always and you linger in my thought.
You always appear unannounced
and I'm sincerely becoming a grouch.
If I compose for you this ode- can my joy be re-bestowed?
This is my offering to you, and to this plummeting trench,
it's in the form of lyrics this is my ode to joy
ps. We'll be an old wench, my joy and I, patiently waiting for you.
I've intended to stop counting on you.
I should have figured it out, you're not a clock
always surprising me: after school days and hours at work
You seemed to have no limit.
My door is no longer locked and we're no longer a team
but you are my oldest friend
no comfort is attached to were but, comfort was always a pal too you.
My joy soon followed you I hope you two are happy
he doesn't come often and never stays long
please come back, this was an ode to joy but...
ps. sleep I love you.
