Ode to the Sea

In was in the summer of my youth
Filled with misconceptions of the truth
Immersed myself in folly
And swam inside my melancholy

I couldent seem to succumb or resist
To plummet into the selfish abyss
No inkling of hesitation
Just a turning of the machinations

My lungs outlined with blue smoke
And with every deterrent stroke
The sea ate more of me
I was decisively free

I dissipated in the idyllics
Lapsing into hydrophilic
Because I was the sea and no one owned me
