Of Blind Desire

I see you white
in this void
places and spaces
floating beyond
the great beyond
reaching heights
secretive
these spaces
densely related
to nothingness
in matter, grey
you float
I reached
hands up, grasping
only to draw back
the empty
I searched grounds
bare
eyes seeking
full of un-fulfillment
only to stop
to breathe air
heavy with cheap anticipation
of what lies in the mind
heady
but leaves the eyes
empty
and I draw back
leaving the un-fulfilling
for the unfulfilled
the voids
to those seeking such
and walk back to what is
seen
touched
which feeds hunger
and quenches thirst
for I am not vast nothingness
but human
woman
with desire
with passion, flowing like lava
and at least it flows
within the known
