Of love and other childlike games

The game of Life I think is the most
Complex of all variations of board games
There's school and jobs and incidents that
Must be accounted for. But most of
All there’s chance for love
An opportunity to bind together.
Two cherry stems tied into a single
Knot; intertwined together for
The rest of eternity.
You now hold all the cards
For a monopoly on my heart.
Yet, it’s not fair, that you’re the
One always hiding and I’m
The one always seeking.
But when the temperature on
A blissful summer day is just
So that a feeling will suddenly dawn
On everyone of lust
For an atmosphere of peace
Tranquility to befall. Then maybe
The doings would cease
Of these games and other childlike love.
