Oh, Alyson

Shadowed beneath me, the ground dimmed:
"Halt, your trip has come to an end."
Their words, they flow like the strongest of winds,
Playing a game I can never win.

With time to think, I remember my past...
But where I am now is where I was cast.
Like the seasons to come, I know what to expect;
My life's messed up, it's truly a wreck.

I'm gasping for air, I'm without water.
I'm like rain coming down-I'm in the gutter.
I'm freezing right now, but a blanket's a bother.
Rain showers here, too.but no May flowers.

Suicide or not, this life is a bore.
The only person stopping me is who I live for-

Oh, Alyson.
